Competing in MLS NEXT Pro, the official development league of Major League Soccer, Barrie MLS NEXT Pro will connect our community to the world’s most popular sport, and welcome Major League Soccer to downtown Barrie.
Barrie MLS NEXT Pro will kickoff in 2028 as the official affiliate and second team to Toronto FC.
Situated on Barrie's waterfront, the new stadium will be a landmark for the city and a home unlike any other in Canadian soccer. Designed with a permanent capacity of 3,500 seats and expandable to over 6,500 for soccer and 8,500 for concerts, the facility will include premium suites, a club lounge, state-of-the-art training amenities, a fully covered grandstand, field side seats, and a rooftop terrace overlooking Kempenfelt Bay.
